Summary:  Performs a wide variety of investment and accounting related duties, including assisting the CFO in managing the investment portfolio, preparation of reports on deposit balances, liquidity, and wholesale funding.



  • Process investment purchases/sales, including general ledger entries, submission to safekeeping and submission to bond accounting service
  • Reconcile investments to general ledger monthly
  • Maintain safekeeping relationships for investments
  • Maintain investment pledging requirements for Treasury Board, Discount Window, Trust, FHLB, etc.
  • Submit monthly/quarterly Qualified Collateral Report (QVR) to FHLB
  • Manage quarterly ALM report process
  • Prepare ALCO committee reports and various Board reports
  • Performs investment due diligence on Municipal Securities
  • Performs annual broker due diligence on approved brokers
  • Maintain and reconcile Bank’s brokered CD investment files
  • Assembles and maintains the investment portfolio for DMT
  • Assist and back up Money Desk, CDARS, ICS and Shareholder services
  • Other tasks as assigned


  • Associates degree in finance, business or related field
  • 3-5 years prior banking experience
  • Good organizational and communicational skills
  • Solid understanding of financial institution policies and procedures
  • Strong computer and technical skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
