Summary:Performs a variety of clerical duties related to the processing administration and closing of Commercial, and Consumer non-real estate loans.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and proofread new, modification and renewal documentation
  • Analyze incoming loan requests for items needed to produce documents
  • Ensures accuracy of data within On-Board Loans software to include loan type selection, coding, HMDA, etc.
  • Understands the legal and procedural requirements of each loan type and the corresponding processing/underwriting requirements thereof.
  • Captures FHLB documentation and information for investment purposes
  • Maintains procedural documentation of relevant tasks/responsibilities.
  • Prioritizes work according to necessity, complexity and deadlines.
  • Participation loans-processing in-coming loan entries and updating spreadsheets.
  • Process in coming wires for payments/payoffs
  • Process tickets for payoff
  • QC and filing of scanned documentations.
  • Continuations of UCC
  • Securing of collateral
  • Ensuring that all final Title insurance policies are received.
  • Review and uploading of insurance policies to our insurance tracking company.
  • Maintains Collateral Documentation tracking and exception report.
  • Daily Balancing Loan Advance
  • Maintains procedural documentation of relevant tasks/responsibilities.
  • Prioritizes work according to necessity, complexity and deadlines.
  • Attend regular trainings/seminars both inside and outside the bank, as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in processing customers' records and files.
  • Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes.

Requirements

  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and minimum one-year customer service related work experience. Experience in banking and/or loan processing is preferred.
  • Skill in areas related to computer operation/use - personal computers and software, including strong working knowledge and demonstrated use of spreadsheet, word processing, Internet, and banking computer software (MS Word and Excel software experience is preferred); customer service - providing excellent customer service to both the internal and the external customer. Able to lift at least 15 pounds
  • Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and to proofread documents accurately and make corrections; follow written and oral instructions.
