As an Assistant Branch Manager, you’ll be a vital part of our leadership team, helping to drive branch success, support staff development, and deliver exceptional service to our members. You’ll:

  • Manage daily branch operations.

  • Step in for the Branch Manager as needed.

Summary: Responsible for daily operations of the Branch. Administers the operation of the Branch with primary emphasis on customer service activities.

Responsibilities

  • Continue with normal CSR duties 
  • Assist with Branch Audits
  • Reviews and approves quarterly reports, night drop logs, opening and closing log
  • Maintains and stays abreast of security policies and procedures
  • Maintains knowledge of Branch policies and procedures with respect to approving checks, overdrafts and overrides
  • Handles customer problems and complaints; counsel’s customers with special needs or requests
  • Accepts and processes consumer loan applications
  • Approves scheduling of employees for vacation, sick leave or in-house training 
  • Assist with maintaining the interior and exterior of the branch
  • Communicates on a weekly basis with the Branch Manager
  • Represents the financial institution in public relations activities and community affairs.
  • Understand role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes.
  • In the absence of the Branch Manager, communicates any pertinent information to the Regional Executive Vice President.

  • Other duties as assigned

Additional Comments:

This position includes all of the above functions but is not limited to these functions because of day-to-day variance in the operation of the branch.

 

Requirements

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 plus years of employment in a financial institution or equivalent experience
  • Supervision Experience Preferred
  • Excellent written, verbal and supervisory skills
  • Computer literate; working knowledge of spreadsheet, word processing and other customized software.
