Summary:

Tracking and disbursement of taxes and insurance for escrowed loans.  Monitor weekly reporting from 3rd party vendor for non-escrowed loans. Performs Escrow Analysis. Handles force placed insurance

Responsibilities

  • Disburse and Distribute escrow checks daily, weekly, etc, for escrow disbursements.
  • Maintenance system for escrowed loans, expiring collateral, flood & hazard insurance
  • Receives, Reviews, Scan and Uploads insurance policies received daily via Synergy or 3rd party insurance tracking company
  • Work weekly mortgage reports (Hazard and Flood) from 3rd party vendor insurance tracking company
  • Track, monitor, and follow up on insurance cancellation notices
  • Review insurance invoices and update accounts, if needed
  • Work and Monitor weekly reports assigned.
  • Process and Monitor Force Place insurance
  • Participate in preparing monthly escrow analysis and handling and related questions.
  • Ordering of Department Supplies
  • Answers telephone calls and assists loan officers with routine inquiries regarding insurance, escrow analysis, and disbursements.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring knowledge of departmental procedures to assist in backup capacity
  • Keep informed of current loan practices and procedures
  • Aid loan officers as needed
  • Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
  • Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Universal Department Responsibilities:

  • Work weekly Commercial reports (Hazard and Flood) from 3rd party vendor insurance tracking company
  • Assist with Loan Payoff Requests
  • Mailing of all loan notices to customers
  • Processing of payments via online or mail
  • Booking
  • Quality Control
  • Cross train in other Loan Administration and Servicing functions as assigned
  • Willingly performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and minimum one-year customer service-related work experience. Experience in banking and/or loan processing is preferred.
  • Skill in areas related to computer operation/use - personal computers and software, including strong working knowledge and demonstrated use of spreadsheet, word processing, Internet, and banking computer software (MS Word and Excel software experience is preferred); customer service - providing excellent customer service to both the internal and the external customer. Able to lift at least 15 pounds.
  • Understand your role as defined by the three lines of defense to maintain a compliance culture that includes risk management processes
  • Ability to pay attention to detail and to proofread documents accurately and make corrections; follow written and oral instructions.
